1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, registering for or using the Campus Buddy app or this website (together, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The Platform is operated by Buddycamp LLP, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India ("we", "our"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2 About the Service
Campus Buddy is a student community platform that offers buddy matching, college and city communities, skill-learning content and AI-powered career guidance tools. Campus Buddy is not a dating app, a job portal or a social-media feed.
3 Eligibility & Accounts
- The Platform is intended for college students aged 18 or above.
- Accounts are created with your name and mobile number, verified by OTP.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. One person may hold only one account.
- We may suspend accounts created with false or misleading information.
4 Community Rules
- Be respectful — no harassment, hate speech, bullying or abuse.
- No spam, advertising or bulk forwards in communities.
- Chats are text-only; do not attempt to bypass this restriction.
- Never share passwords, OTPs, bank details or another person's private information.
- Do not use the Platform for dating, solicitation or any unlawful purpose.
5 Matching & Private Chats
Private chat unlocks only after a mutual connection between two students. You can disconnect, report or block any user at any time. Reported users are reviewed by our moderation team; repeat violations lead to temporary holds or permanent bans.
6 AI Features — Honest Disclaimer
Our AI career guidance and mock interview tools provide educational guidance and practice feedback only. They do not guarantee any job, placement, admission, selection or outcome of any kind. Final decisions always rest with you and the institutions or employers involved.
7 Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant us a limited license to display it inside the Platform to other students. Do not post content that is illegal, infringing, misleading or harmful. We may remove content that violates these terms.
8 Moderation & Enforcement
We use a mix of automated systems and human review to keep communities safe. Depending on severity, violations may result in content removal, a warning, a temporary hold or a permanent ban — with or without prior notice.
9 Intellectual Property
The Campus Buddy name, logo, app design and all Platform content (except user content) belong to Buddycamp LLP. You may not copy, resell or reuse them without written permission.
10 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buddycamp LLP is not liable for: interactions between users, decisions made using AI guidance, third-party services linked from the Platform, or any indirect or consequential loss.
11 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
